Thank you for visiting Team Quinn VA.
It is with immense bitter sweet emotions and feelings of gratefulness and thankfulness that we announce the dissolution of the Team Quinn organization as of March 15, 2023.
Over the last 3 ½ years we are incredibly proud to say that we have raised and given away over $256,000 to over 60 Virginians battling ALS.
As everyone knows, it takes donations for a non-profit to accomplish its mission. While we have received TREMENDOUS support from individuals that we are forever grateful for, we have been unable to secure additional, larger, corporate donations. Despite our annual golf tournament, the amazing support we received annually from the Main Street Homes golf tournament and other fund raisers, we are unable to sustain the number of applications we receive.
I want to thank all of the board members present and past, Anne Gilson, Dani Fink, Crystal Duke, Kim Wheeler, Parker Joyner, Jeff Hanner and Joy Hanner for all of their time, support and effort they each put in to the mission and keeping Bobby’s legacy alive.
I also want to thank my extraordinary husband, Bobby Quinn, for being the special and generous guy he was for coming up with the idea to start Team Quinn so we could help others fighting the same fight. At the end of the day, please keep his quote in your thoughts as you move through life’s journey, whatever it is you’re battling, whatever demon you’re facing, “My LIFE doesn’t suck, ALS DOES! My LIFE is amazing, full of love and support” and that my friends is what I wish and pray for all of you reading this.
Love, hugs and prayers,
Michele Quinn
Team Quinn President
